Biography


Jeff Gabriel, Legislative Counsel, is responsible for working with Members of Congress and their staffs to promote the interests of NMMA members within the Halls of Congress. Jeff graduated from the George Mason University School of Law in May 2003 and is a member of the Washington, DC Bar.

During law school, Mr. Gabriel had the honor of working as a legal intern for President George Bush as well as working for The Conservation Fund on a number of purchases of real estate. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Gabriel worked as Legislative Aide for Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) from 1995 to 1999. He acted as liaison with the Senate Republican Cloakroom and worked on a variety of banking and business issues, focusing particular attention on small businesses. Mr. Gabriel received a Master Degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University’‘s Elliott School of International Affairs as well as a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Mr. Gabriel has a deep passion for hunting and fishing and, if he isn’‘t in the outdoors during the autumn, he can be found cheering on his favorite professional football team, the Washington Redskins.
